The best shawarma in Chicago and beyond! The staff is incredibly kind, and the food is simply delicious. I've enjoyed her shawarma many times, and the platters are fantastic as well. Whether you prefer chicken or meat, both are incredibly tasty. Her falafel is excellent, and for those feeling adventurous, you must try her cheese sambosak, foul (fava beans), and cheese and za'atar fatayer. Oh, I almost forgot to mention her grape leaves—definitely a must-try! Don't be fooled by the small size of the restaurant; this little spot serves some of the best and most authentic food outside of Jordan or the Levant. I visited this restaurant a few months ago, around February or March 2022. At first, we accidentally drove past Pita Falafel and ended up next door. It wasn't obvious that the place was open due to the construction, with half of the space cluttered with stones. We ordered the beef and chicken shawarma wraps, along with a side of falafels, which were excellent.
Love their Falafels and Shawarmas are of first-class shelf where quality meets taste. For those who love the late night drives like me and starve You the moment you're going, even like I'm lol this place is it! Garlic sauce is to die and they have all your Mediterranean pops available.
I appreciate the mix of aromas from the various meats, and the portion sizes are quite good. I enjoy the grape leaf dishes as well. However, they need to figure out how to prevent the meat from becoming dry. It can be inconsistent, but I’ll definitely keep eating there. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I’ve been loyal to this place for years and they never disappoint, I recently tried out their infamous neighbors and their was no competition . Pita Falafel has the best Chicken shawarma hands down .
