We support Pita Fresco- they offer an array of healthy plant-based options for those who are interested in supporting local at the same time as they support their health. The make their own salsa, hummus, and will water sauté, upon request. If pitas are your interest, when loaded with vegetables, and or the addition of tofu, falafel, they are quite filling. You can ask for extra vegetables and they will add when asked. The pitas are satisfying, filling, and a good choice for eating out in Fredericton for the health conscious (making it work). this is my goal for dirt cheap, healthy fast food. the staff are always friendly and ready to make small talks while preparing their food. there are no tons of veg options when they begin their order (only veggie and falafel) but they will find there are more than enough options when they begin to put their pita (or salat or sandwich) together. they make their own hummus, falafel and tzatziki in the house. they have so many nice to choose and charge of great sauces. it is really designed to take care, they are fast and make eating right in front of them. save them money and take a healthy fast bite on the jump.
The food at this restaurant was delicious!!! I was drawn to the special dish because it was gluten-free and vegetarian. It was very flavorful and the service was quick. I ordered the mild option since it was my first time at the restaurant, but I would go for slightly spicy next time, as the mild had almost no kick. The meal was delicious and I will definitely return!!!
I love the personal here and they recognize me again and again when I am a master. the portions are beautiful and generous and the prices are appropriate. I love the tofu udon, although they check the veggie pitas as they have many different vegetables. not all sauces for pitas are vegan friendly, but they have delicious homemade hummus! My favouriteare the sweet potato noodles (the special) and the kyozas. Good quality restaurant and nice atmosphere with fresh ingredients. The only downside is that is a little bit pricey.
My first taste and it was beautiful. The rice can is much more filling than it depletes. You also have a stream of people coming and going so you can see someone you know.
This restaurant is a tasty option instead of Pita Pit. They incorporate all fresh vegetables into their dishes and the dining area provides a lovely atmosphere.
