You order at the counter and even for eat-in food comes in takeout containers. There are tables, but it's like eating in a school cafeteria, there is little attempt at decor or atmosphere. The service was awkward, only 2 staff behind the counter but they couldn't seem to avoid getting in each others way at every turn. I ordered a falafel wrap, but to my surprise, it came wrapped in a tortilla instead of pita (PITA, Ikram??). The lettuce used was a spring mix, which quickly became soggy from the sauces. The falafel balls were quite dry and the flavor was mediocre—nothing special. The older woman working behind the counter could benefit from improving her customer service skills; she was abrupt and seemed a bit annoyed. The restaurant is mainly a meeting spot where you order at the counter and food is served in take-out containers. The atmosphere is lacking, with minimal decoration. The service was subpar with only 2 employees working behind the counter, and there were issues with our order. Although the restaurant may be experiencing new employee problems, the food itself was not great. There are many better and more authentic local food options in Toronto. The website indicates that the other location offers delivery, but it is unclear when this service is available.
We drove from Chicago and met with the local family and decided that the Mediterranean food will meet after a long day and be ordered by Pita Ikram. I think we have something of everything, including a few Shawarma meals, salads, falafel, pita and...hummus. Many hummus! The food was great and after looking at the menu we decided to have a Greek night at some point! Although our location near High Park was a bit far, the food came warm and in a timely matter. We will definitely order again.

I used to enjoy Shawarma until I tried Pita Ikram's - now I absolutely love it! The special store on Finch is fantastic, with fresh food and incredibly delicious Shawarma. They definitely give you more chicken than other restaurants.
I ordered the chicken Souvlaki Combo meal and it was incredibly generous, fresh, and delicious! This wasn't my first visit, and it certainly won't be my last. The food here is consistently flavorful and delightful.
I liked shawarma before until i taste pita ikram's, now i love it!! That particular store on finch is great, The food is fresh and the shawarma is so tasty They put more chicken than the other restaurants
Ordered the chicken souvlaki combo meal and it was so plentiful and absolutely fresh and delicious! Not the first time here and not the last. Very consistent and delicious!

Pita Ikram is simple straight forward shawarma place with decent shawarma and good prices.
