Pittsford Farms Dairy

I found this mockery and bakery on the internet during our trip and we knew we were visiting. little we knew it was even more charming when we thought it was! the outer is simply charming and the interieur is well designed and has a beautiful rustic feeling where different milk and snack options arrive. I have a schnapps of the chocolate hutard it was the creamiest frozen dessert I ever had. the woman got the flyer nuts and it was different, but delicious. also very close to a cute park at the shore of the historical erie canal.

Really good ice cream. The variety of flavors in overwhelming, and the other products they sell is amazing. Their egg nog especially is the highlight of a trip there, and the customer service is excellent. I would like more outdoor seating, as at some times it can get very crowded forcing so e people to have to stand in the hit sun, but overall, a very good ice cream place.

I do love the baked goods but their milk and their ice cream is beyond reproach; nobody can beat it. In the old days, there used to be an amazing dairy known as McConnells and it was located I think where Joe Joe’s is now in the village. They were the best back in the 60s but now, Pittsford dairy has it over everybody!!! thank you for being here !!

Yesterday was my first visit, and I will return safely. I was there for the ice, but the other goods looked delicious. I was hoping for a fabulous vanilla ice cream, and I was not disappointed by cherry vanilla who had huge cherries that just tasted, and the lower blade (in a fresh, crispy waffle cone) was a luscious vanilla bean flavor!

Outstanding dairy clean, rich, supple cream flavor. Seek it out! Possibly the best pouring cream, 1/2 1/2 and buttermilk in NY State! Look for it at fine markets and coops like the Bushwick Food Coop and Parkslope Food Coop. I hope to visit the dairy one day to woo in person!

Pittsford Dairy Farms has been a go-to place in my family since the 1960's. We started with just egg nog at the holidays and it just progressed from there. Now we can get so many things there. Delicious ice cream, pastries and dairy products just to name a few!!!

quaint place with great ice cream and nice selection of local food. tasty bakery and good coffee bar. of course we love their milk in the glass jugs. i appreciate the lack of tacky decor and fake americana. friendly staff too.

Just purchased an apple pie with crumb topping and it was without any doubt the best apple pie we’ve ever had. No other bakery pie of any variety even comes close.

The place is magical. Huge collection on all kinds of food and one of the best milk and eggnog and ice cream ice had. Oh and their bread is pretty good, too!

It is a great place. Owner and staff very friendly. Great place for a light lunch, coffee and ice cream!
