Finding good quality and consistency can be challenging, but I have never had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I've ordered over 40 pizzas from them since moving to the area, and the quality has always been excellent. After searching throughout the entire lower North Shore, I can confidently say that nothing compares to Pizza d'Oro. The service is quick and friendly, and they make you feel like a longtime customer, no matter how often you visit. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you receive. I can't recommend this place highly enough!
This place feels just like Little Italy and the streets of New York, right here in St Leonards. I can't recommend the charm and hospitality of Michael, the owner, highly enough. The pizza is absolutely delicious, and they offer a fantastic selection of wine as well. The toppings on the pizza are generous, which is a great bonus! Michael really knows the community and enjoys chatting with all the neighbors who pass by. Dining outside at the tables truly feels like taking a little trip abroad.
Got takeaway from the Vietnamese restaurant one night but could not resist the wonderful aromas of roasted garlic and herbs coming from this pizza shop. Came back the next night to try the pizza for first time. Had the King prawn pizza which came with free garlic bread promotion. Pizza smelt just like the shop. Prawns were plentiful and juicy, not over cooked.dough was medium thickness and nice and fluffy. Excellent pizza, will be back to try other flavours. Owner is friendly and welcoming.
I’ve lived by Michael and Pizza Doro for over a year now and they are by far the best pizza joint in town. Michael and his team take customer service to the next level. The food is always hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. There is nowhere else I eat pizza from these days. The best pepperoni pizza in Sydney! I truly mean it. The atmosphere is so welcoming, and it's wonderful to support a local Australian-Italian family that is incredibly passionate about their craft. The customer service is excellent, and the food is even better, made with fresh ingredients. You can also tell that the cheese is cooked perfectly, not rushed out of the oven. Thank you, Pizza D'Oro!
Absolutely incredible! I was so excited that I couldn't wait to dig into a slice before snapping a photo— *drools.* This restaurant truly feels like a community hub; the owner, Michael, is the quintessential Italian host who treats his customers like family. I can't recommend it highly enough! The prices are great, and the value is amazing.
Was told about Pizza D'Oro while staying at the Quest nearby. Glad we ordered our dinner from there, the pizzas were absolutely delicious. Perfect amount of topping and the perfect base made for full flavour pizzas. Do not hesitate to recommend this place. Know where I will eat next time I stay in the area.

Pizza D’Oro is an outstanding pizzeria! The food is exceptional, and the staff is wonderful. The pizzas are consistently cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this pizzeria to anyone in search of delicious traditional and gourmet pizzas.
