Visited on a Tuesday night, we were only one of 3 tables dining in. I ordered a special pasta -prawn fettuccine in a creamy wine sauce with chargrilled capsicum. Pasta arrived-no sauce to speak of, really quite dry. Called the waitress over to return it back to the kitchen and to please provide the dish as it was described in the menu. I waited approximately 15 mins only for the plate to be returned in the same state-no extra sauce and had it been redone as requested it would have been piping hot-in fact it was lukewarm at best. Visited Pizza Espresso for a birthday gathering. Greeted warmly and seated promptly. Service was warm and genuine. We ordered pizza's and pasta's to share for the table. The Pizza's were amazing! I liken it to eating authentic Italian thin crusted pizza one some of the finest pizzeria's in Italy. The pasta was beautifully cooked and presented. The only problem was it lacked a little seasoning and cost to portion size was not in proportion. The pasta's are expensive for the size of meal delivered. Overall a great meal but recommend Pizza Espresso for the Pizza, you won't find a better Pizza in Melbourne. The next best is Zero95 in East Doncaster.
I ordered the gluten/vegan margherita from eating and it was the best I ever had, so I came tonight with my friend and ordered the same and the quality was exactly the same, my friend got the lasagne and she said it was perfect! the vegan/gluten free nutella pizza is soou yummy! new favorite place to eat bonus that vegan cheese, nutella and ices is no additional fee!
Service is always great, friendly and efficient.I can't seem to get past the prawn pizza... Simply delicious, the best I've had. Traditional Pasta dishes are also tasty. Much to choose from.I love it, it's homely and there seems to be many regulars that re visit.A must if you live in the area

the best place to get wood fired pizza ever! they have an amazing spectacle, gorgonzola and pear pizza an amazing taste the personal is beautiful with alexandra and courtney that care about the front of the house and Adam the pass running, the pizza and pasta to get them must be the jelly
We had dinner here as a family.The food was great, very good choices on the menu. Great Wood fire pizza and pasta etc.I would say its a great place to meet up with friends and chat over a coffee or pizza or two.But as a family after spending a lot of money we walked out still hungry.
Not much style here but the pizzas and the dishes baked in the oven are tasty and well-presented. The wait staff are both knowledgeable and helpful. The wine list is OK, but I was very pleased to see a Tar and Roses wine on the list.
i love coming to pizza espresso as they make the best wood oven pizza in the area. The only thing that i found that was discomforting was the noise levels and space (both these things are none of the restaurant's fault)

my partner and I had the best pizza and pasta in the city! we washed it with her homemade mandarin thaivo and then pulled out on her pizza dessert to finish the night! absolutely delicious!
Best pizza in Melbourne, worth the trip to Lower Templestowe ! Awesome staff. You can try any pizza. Pasta are really hood too!
