Upon arrival we were seated reasonably sharpish, once sat down, bearing in mind we were a family of 5 and had a two year old. We waited a good 10 minutes before someone came over to take our order. Then another 10 minutes before the drinks arrived. Then another 10-20 mins before the pizzas arrived. The kids pizzas were ok. Mine on the other hand, I think was made from recycled cardboard and gave me jaw ache winding it into me. I did consider taking the crusts home to construct a nuclear bomb shelter, also it was luke warm, luckily I had chilli’s on to give me the illusion it was actually hot. I think they were rationed on cheese as well. All in all fairly poor. oh and also they had a compute...
So a week ago we went to the St Benedict’s restaurant it was understaffed but at least we managed to get two drinks and pizza, this week the forum restaurant we got seated but 15 minutes later no drinks no food menu and a table that had to be wiped while we sat there. Wouldn’t have minded but we’d booked a table and it was only half full, such a shame the food is always decent but we left as it shouldn’t be that hard to get drinks and order food.
First and last time I shall go there, took a long while to get meals 2 of which were sent back as they were overcooked almost burnt. Very over priced for the portion size other than pizzas which were good. Poor table clearance tables left uncleared for over an hour
I was in the mood for a salad and the staff at the restaurant went above and beyond to create a delicious vegan option for me, complete with a tasty dressing. It was so good that I even discovered a new favorite ingredient - Roquito pearls.

Ordered a classic pizza and i thought it was a kids pizza no joke this was a £16 pizza the size of a saucer! Shrinkflation gone mad! Loads of better local wood fired pizza places nearby!
Slow but good service. Having a pizzas with nice view from my table. Not bad for relaxing after city walk.
The pizza express uses a delicious vegan cheese that pairs perfectly with the giardiniera toppings.
There are many vegan choices available, and I particularly liked the eggplant dish.
