This place holds a truly special corner in my heart. Mesa is my hometown, and from my earliest memories, I recall the joy of visiting this establishment with my parents. Since then, it's remained a beloved favorite. Their pizza is simply divine, with a perfect balance of crunchy crust and soft, flavorful dough. Every bite is a journey back to a time when life felt simple and full of goodness. It's more than just pizza; it's a delicious reminder of the warmth and kindness found within our community. In every neighborhood, there's a gem like this where you not only enjoy great food but also experience the genuine spirit of the city's people.
I noticed I wrote a review 10 years ago and wanted to update my review, because after all these years this place still hits! 7.95 for a large pepperoni pizza. We love this place and now that we live closer, we usually take out at least 4-5 times a month. My daughter loves to have this for dinner and take it in her lunch the next day. The ranch always hits too. This place might not look like much, but try it and you'll be pleasantly surprised! It's a Mesa Landmark at this point and we need to support these treasures!
I wish I knew about this place before my only friend with a kid moved away... It's a nostalgic pizza shop with pizza that tastes like pizza from the 90s. It's dough has a yeasty flavor and a crunch bottom while still being chewy, the pizza sauce is tomato paste heavy, and the cheese is light. I didn't know I wanted this, it's not normally how I would describe a fantastic pizza, but man it was a ratatouille moment when I had that pizza.
Staff are nice. Crust was crisp.. but overall the quality of the sauce and cheese, and just overall taste was average. Definitely better than your Papa John's, Pizza Hut and Domino's but on the level of a Peter Piper. Not gonna say the pizza was bad because it was not. It just wasn't great.. I know the place has been around for a long time and the draw is probably more of a cult following.
