Mike's energy is infectious—he's always happy and inspiring. You can't help but love being there and enjoying what he has to offer. The pizza is consistently fresh and cooked to perfection. It has a wonderfully crunchy bottom thanks to the cornmeal, and the red sauce is simply amazing! We ended up freezing half of a large pizza because we had ordered too much, but when we reheated it, it was still fantastic! This pizza is truly remarkable and a must-try! You'll become a fan in no time!
While I was filling up my gas tank, the aroma from this place caught my attention! The pizza here is fantastic, offering a variety of unique and quirky options (and you can even customize your own if you prefer). However, the highlight of my experience was definitely Dave. He was incredibly friendly, cheerful, and helpful. His positive attitude instantly lifted my spirits!
I love and miss Pizza Mike's. I went to UConn and lived up the road and used to get their pizza all the time. I enjoyed the variety of specialty pizzas they make. One of the delivery drivers helped me jump start my car in the parking lot when I waspicking up a pizza one day. 10/10 love this place and I often contemplate the 1hour drive to go get pizza from them again.
This pizzeria found special events during the visit of UConn. Pizza Mike is the first pizza place I know he serves a Lammpizze. I gave it a try and it was excellent baked lamb, with feta cheese, tzatziki sauce and other ingredients made it one of the best pizza I ever enjoyed! I cried today and basically asked for a gyro pizza they were not only cool about my kind strange request, but the cake was perfect from the sauce to the lamb (which did not cut, big plus) to use cornmeal instead of flour when she made the cake it was beyond expectations I tried a pizza shop in a gas station again great pizza guys
Pizza Mike's Pizzeria is as fantastic as its owner, and that's saying a lot! I recently tried the smoked salmon pizza, and it completely changed my perspective on pizza. It's truly the best pizza in Connecticut. I highly recommend treating yourself to a visit and getting to know the amazing staff there.
Very impressed! We live on the Stafford/Willington line and they deliver to us (which is amazing because we have very few options for delivery). Every experience the staff has been nothing but wonderful and the pizza never disappoints! Highlyrecommend!
