We chose to visit this restaurant while we were in town. Having grown up in La Verne, we've been dining here for the past 30 years. However, our recent experiences have not quite matched those of the past; it just doesn't feel the same anymore. On the bright side, the service was still fantastic. Although our most recent visit was slightly disappointing, I remain hopeful that it can return to its former glory!
The food is consistently good. The pizza is the best I’ve found at a pizzeria. The house salad with ranch and Italian dressing is excellent, and the mushroom captivating stone is fantastic. The staff is friendly, but they are clearly overworked due to a persistent shortage of personnel (it seems people don't want to work these days). So, just keep in mind not to rush your visit, and you won’t be disappointed.
This used to be our favorite spot to visit whenever we were in town. Both of us grew up in La Verne and have been dining here for 30 years. However, we’ve noticed that it hasn’t been quite up to par during our recent visits; it just doesn’t feel the same anymore. The service remains outstanding, and our latest visit was an improvement, but I truly hope it can return to its former greatness!
The food is consistently good. The pizza is the best I’ve had from a pizzeria. The house salad, which comes with both ranch and Italian dressing, is fantastic. The mushroom fettuccine is delicious. The staff is friendly, but they do seem overworked due to ongoing staff shortages (it seems nobody wants to work these days). So, if you're not in a hurry, you'll have a great experience. I specifically requested extra sauce over the phone three times and even offered to pay extra for it. The person on the phone assured me it wouldn’t be an issue. Yet, what I received was hardly any sauce and garlic bread that was undercooked.
Bring you appetite to this place! The portions are huge and can be easily shared. Everything was great and the staff was very friendly. It felt like we had been going there for years.
Quick friendly service in a quiet spot with a nice selection of tasty pizzas that came loaded with cheese and toppings. Spaghetti pastas were basic but good.
