It was 36C/97F on June 20, 2017 when my husband and I did an afternoon tour of Versailles Palace. The crowds, the heat. We were so tired, worn out, and starving.We decided to head to town for an early dinner. We scanned the menus on the main restaurant street and decided on Veneto. We were the first customers (it was early for dinner in France) and it concerned us that other places had crowds and this didn't.But the menu looked good.That's how some of the best evenings happen. We ordered a bottle of champagne, sat closest to the street for wonderful people watching, and had one of the best meals in a 2-week period in France. I had pizza and my husband had spaghetti. My company has an office in Versailles. Whenever I come out for a visit, my team knows we are heading for Pizza Via Veneto for dinner. It would be wrong in the U.S. to call this a pizza place. It's a really good Italian restaurant. The same staff is there every time I visit. Even though I only come about once a quarter, they now know me, stop by to say hi, etc. The staff feels like family. Also, for you English speakers, they accommodate you well. The salads are great, as are all the pasta dishes and yes, even the pizza. One note, I think this place has become successful enough that there may be copy-cats in the area. Be careful you go to the real Via Veneto! Chao!
a warm and friendly welcome, a relatively fast service since the room was full! pizzas are well garnished with fresh and ideal size products, we go out of table without hunger but avoiding the waste!The prices of pizzas are correct (between 13 euros and 16 euros). desserts are very good even if a little expensive, especially enjoy them at 11,50€. However, it remains a very nice restaurant!
Little dinner Saturday night. Thankfully I had booked because those who arrived were to wait 30 minutes before having a table. We felt the boss a little overwhelmed. We chose the pasta that was excellent. a good but not exceptional tiramisu in dessert. a good address to be recommended. possibility to order pizzas to take away.

small Italian restaurant near the castle with a terrace. the menu is simple, simple, fresh but not very copyy salads (16-18€), pasta, correct pizzas (count 13€). service rather fast but without fantasy. I found that the salads were a little expensive for what it was. It's okay, but no more.
several dinners with friends in this restaurant. pizza is excellent and finally a peppery oil worthy of this name. fresh pasta, risotto, desserts are also very good. the in-room team is welcoming and very helpful. A good address to recommend. P.S: possibility to order pizzas to take away.
Pretty little address that pizzeria of Versailles. Nice home, small terrace in front of the nice restaurant in the summer. for food as positive, pasta or pizza. The dessert is good idem for Italian wine. The coffee is a shame to accompany.
Vlotte bediening. Hoeft niet lang te wachten. Ook binnen kun je aardig zitten. Pizza smaakte goed. De kids vonden het in ieder geval top :-)
