Having eaten rich food all week in Biarritz and San Sebastián we required a light inexpensive snack. We wandered into this tiny cafe, possibly could be described as takeaway. However, there are 2 tables outside and the pizza and salad was as required. Perfectly thin crust, a break from a 60 Euro per person tourist bill and the service was lovely. The owner, previously living in St Martin for 25 years offered us his homemade rum. We drank a couple with him on this side street and reminisced about the amazing experiences to be had in Biarritz. My feeling on the whole experience is that sometimes it pays to go off the beaten track, meet a local and talk history... and eat great pizza.
After reading good reviews we found the place and asked if we could dine in (there were tables) but the owner told us it was takeaway only. I think he said that was the situation in the summer. Pity. Can't review Pizza Victoria, just warn others of the eating situation.
Beautiful crispy pizza and a bottle of wine. What more could you ask for. Although this is a carry out they do have a few tables and we were lucky to be able to get one. Accessible for a wheelchair user but no toilets.
