I’ve been to many pizza express restaurants over the years, and this by far one of the dirtiest. We were greeted by a polite server who asked where we wanted to be seated. We asked to be seated by a window. On sitting down we...noticed how dirty the floor was. I kicked food away from under our table. My glass had lipstick on it, and the window sill next to the table was thick with dust. The glasses in general has seen better days. We informed our server we’d changed our minds, and on leaving I spoke with the manager. I informed her why we had changed our minds. The service at this restaurant was terrible on both Friday and Saturday. Due to only half of the oven working, orders were delayed. While this can be understandable, the front of house service was extremely poor. We waited a long time to be told about the kitchen delay, and then were ignored for another 15-20 minutes before we could even place our order. Instead of attending to hungry customers, the staff stood around talking to each other. This experience was repeated on both Friday evening and Saturday lunchtime. It seems that the management needs to make changes to the front of house staff and hire motivated individuals with better hospitality skills.
I came here on lunch break, during my visit I experienced a pizza that was rock hard as a matter of fact my coke was warmer than my pizza, my co workers pizza was also as solid as it made a thud off the table...and my other associates pasta was swimming in oil, when sent back nothing was taken off the bill even though the bare minimum of food was consumed. Would not go here again, what a let down now I’m walking home with a growling stomach and a bank account that’s hurting…

The pizza was extremely overpriced at £13.99 each and was so thin that it turned into a soggy mess. There were also very few toppings on it. To add to my disappointment, when I tried to pay the bill with a gift card that had the restaurant's logo on it, they refused to accept it. This left me with no choice but to pay the high bill for food and an atmosphere that I did not enjoy.
we were in several pizza-express restaurants, this was the first in solihull and the last to wait for a long time when my men came pizza, it was the wrong one, he held it because we had already waited how my old was sloppy...and had to go back to the many, it was sill not great, I had asked for a new one, but then I could not really ask the bill again, no customers.
Ordered via Deliveroo. Pizzas ok if you like them luke warm. But main complaint is the halloumi bites. Not acceptable to be served burnt and smaller than olives. Restaurant response was that’s what we serve. At nearly £5 a serving I expected more. We won’t...be ordering there again. Far better places for pizzas nearby.
