After having seen the commercial from Buman a few times on TV and hearing that the restaurant is right in the village where I work, I decided to head there one day with a colleague for lunch. Upon entrance we were warmly greeted by Franco himself and his casual and friendly greeting made us feel like we're family who hadn't been round for a while, but really happy to have returned.We both ordered the Gnocchi and they were fantastic. Afterwards he told us that they make 40 kilos of Gnocchi a day and that people from all over the country come to visit tehm. Wir haben dieses Restaurant aufgrund der Kommentare auf TripAdvisor ausgewählt! Aber wie enttäuschend! Der gemischte Salat war sehr dürftig und unattraktiv mit geschmacklosem Dressing! Die 25 Franken teuren Gnocchis wurden mit Dosen-Spargel mitten in der frischen Saison serviert! Auch die Pizza war sehr durchschnittlich und mangelte an Geschmack! Ich wollte zum Nachtisch etwas vom hausgemachten Tiramisu, das auf der Theke ausgestellt war, bestellen, aber es war nicht verfügbar und das Schild wurde nicht entfernt! Der Service war auch ziemlich schlecht! Die Gerichte wurden nicht alle gleichzeitig serviert und einige wurden abgeräumt, bevor alle fertig waren! Kein Besuch wert!
Wir haben diese Pizzeria ziemlich spontan besucht, wurden aber sofort vom Besitzer mit einem Händedruck und einem herzlichen Lächeln begrüßt. Wir wurden sehr schnell platziert und ebenso schnell bedient. Wir bestellten drei Pizzen und sie kamen ziemlich schnell und schmeckten wirklich fantastisch! Die Pizza war herrlich knusprig, aber überhaupt nicht hart, die Sauce war köstlich und die Beläge waren nicht überwältigend, sondern kamen sehr zart durch und das Ganze war einfach ein Genuss. Wenn Sie jemals in Pfaeffikon sind, besuchen Sie dieses Restaurant.
Seit meinem letzten Besuch in diesem Restaurant hat sich der Service verschlechtert. Franco ist ein netter Koch/Komiker, aber seine anderen beiden Kellner/Assistenten sind nachlässig und präsentieren sich schlecht. Das Essen ist durchschnittlich und der Ort war eher kalt, in Anbetracht des Winters und -3 Grad draußen war es unangenehm, dort länger als 30 Minuten zu sitzen. Franco hat wieder einmal die bisherigen Standards übertroffen - danke.

Have been living in Switzerland for nearly 6 years and I have had Italian food in various different cities in Switzerland. Nothing else even comes remotely close to this place. Delicious food, with an extremely friendly and gracious host. Pfäffikon is probably not one of the most attractive destinations in Switzerland, but it is worth to visit it just to eat at this restaurant.
Had a dinner there with a group of 9 friends and we ordered several Pizzas and Spaghetti dishes. Each one of the dish was the best we have had until now in Switzerland. Service was prompt and the ambience was warm and welcoming. Had a very positive experience and will definitely visit again. Highly recommended, you can't go wrong with this one :)
been there after having read in the newspaper that the patron is back. Great choice of italian food (not only Pizza from woodoven,) well prepared and nicely presented. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
I've been there a couple of times. A traditional pizzeria. Excellent, freshly prepared food. Great choice of italian and some swiss food. Interior and terrace would need a little upgrade or more coziness.

Everything fits here: from the warm welcome by Franco via great starters and a very tasty pizza or pasta dish (or maybe a bistecca) and the not-to-be missed homemade Gnoccis ! Chef
Great Italian basics and the best owner in the business. My whole family loves coming here to see if we can possibly get in or out without Franco's famous handshake - lol
