This hotel is spitting distance from the Premiere Classe that I reviewed. Now this is the real deal! Unpretentious looking, simple decor etc but the chef obviously a REAL Italian chef making REAL food from scratch. It was one of those instances when you look...over to the next table and think, ooh wish I had ordered that..then your order comes and you are more than satisfied with yours, but look around and think OMG I will have THAT next time! Every dish looked fabulous, with great presentation. Was clearly also a locals restaurant, which says a lot..
We were staying at a motel down the road so stopped off here as very thirsty and hungry. It was quite busy when we arrived but we waited about 5 minutes after we'd sat down for the menus, and then a further 20 or so...minutes before we ordered. However, once we had ordered the drinks arrived promptly, albeit mine which I think he had forgotten about. The pizzas we all ordered were very good. I didn't get the side salad I had ordered either but then didn't get charged for it!
We arrived just before 9am, a group of 5. We ordered pizzas, fries and drinks. The pizzas are handcrafted, you can see the chef in the kitchen, and we got our food in less than 10 minutes. The pizzas were great, fantastic... taste and flavors. The bases were super thin. The price, around 70€ for the 5 of us, including drinks. If we stay overnight in St Malo again we will eat here again.
Unfortunately, the staff put takeaway customers and plate cleaning before serving seated guests. Very slow to offer drinks or take an order. After 15 minutes we wait. Restaurant less than half full but they fought. Walk to Gourmet Wok 2 minutes around the corner instead

This is a typical everyday restaurant, service is reasonably quick and you can see it being cooked, the food is not all home made
house super beautiful pizza very correct so everything is perfect you can go with lots of fun
