I would only give this restaurant one star, but the pizza was delicious. However, the service was terrible. I'm not sure if it was because they automatically add a 20% gratuity charge, but the server seemed to not care at all. When a glass of water was spilled, the waitress was very rude about it, saying to my husband and son that if they weren't going to move, she would throw some towels at them so they could clean it up themselves. There was no apology or acknowledgment when they brought out the wrong order - a salad instead of my son's cheese pizza. We had to ask the people at the bar about it. The pizza finally arrived, but the server completely ignored us when we tried to ask her about...
I have had the worse experience ordering delivery from this restaurant. For $26 you would think I could get a decent pizza, the entire bottom of the pizza was burnt and the pizza was still cold and soggy. I don’t know how you burn something but it still manages the be soft, soggy, and flavorless. And to make matters worse I paid to add meatballs to my pizza and it appears as if they stood and the front door and threw the meatballs to the kitchen on the pizza, and what ever makes it that’s what they serve. Just ridiculous not worth the price or headache!
I really enjoy this place. They serve delicious pizza, great beer, and the staff are friendly. The atmosphere is very welcoming to locals and they often have specials for nearby residents. Gretchen, Jordan, and Sam are always friendly and easy to chat with. When the weather is nice, they open up the garage-style door and window wall, creating a lovely cross breeze. The pizza was okay. The crust was good, but maybe different toppings would have made it better. Drinks were also good. However, I paid way more than it was worth. This fantastic neighborhood restaurant offers amazing pizza and a fantastic variety of beers. Don't forget to try the bread pudding – it's delicious! Service is top-notch and the atmosphere is cozy. Perfect spot for a dinner out, with prices ranging from $30 to $50 per person. Food is rated 5 out of 5, service 4 out of 5, and atmosphere 5 out of 5.
I have visited the other location in Dupont and this one lives up to expectations. The food is fresh and served promptly. Happy hour is available only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4-7, with discounts on drinks, appetizers, and pizza. The service and food are excellent. The restaurant has an open layout and is best suited for small groups.
WilI always get their Minieri with 3 toppings pizza. Not greasy or oily. Fresh ingredients. Clean restaurant. People there are very nice. Kelly at Hyattsville is wonderful. Awesome place. The pizza was delicious, especially the Bosco I ordered. They have a great selection of beers. The service was excellent. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.
