A couple of friends and l had brunch just recently. We found the experience pleasant enough. The young waitress was fine, she took our orders and we really didn't have to wait long at all. After being served, there was no follow up by the staff. No one asked if we would like anything else... if they had we probably would have ordered another coffee. The food was pretty average, nothing really stood out or had a wow factor ..Pleasant enough for a catch up with friends.
The moment in walked in and was greeted with a big smile and a waitress eager to cater to my.every need without being intrusive! The food portions were very generous and incredibly delicious and when I mentioned I had a bad case of jet lag they were note than happy to help me out with the BIGGEST coffee mug I've ever seen...really great place and I can't wait to.come back!
Came here for Sunday morning breakkie, lovely power breakfast smoothie, good choices on the menu. Place is going for a grungy look, that's ok, but it is borderline grotty, needs a good spring clean - windows are filthy and so are the food displays. Smell of rancid fat coming from kitchen. Smarten up a bit, you could do better. Staff friendly and service ok.
This cafe is the best place on Koornang Rd for a simple, well cooked breakfast, but the waitstaff really let the kitchen down. Have been here several times and we are always ignored after we have been seated and then again after we have finished our food and want another coffee etc. disappointing as it would be our local were it not for the service. I ordered a quinoa and pumpkin salad that was not worth the price. It was mostly a lettuce mix with a few slivers of red onion, a small amount of quinoa, and very little pumpkin. I also tried the falafel burger slider, which was decent but not exceptional. In a city like Melbourne, just being "okay" is not enough.
This fantastic and unique bar/cafe is open to all, serving delicious coffee and food that caters to a diverse clientele. The lively atmosphere of the Friday and Saturday night happy hour is a blast, offering tasty food and delicious cocktails. On Friday nights, enjoy live music during the summer months.
I came here most every day with my boyfriend during our short stay in Carnegie. Coffee was fantastic! Breakfasts were delicious, & the charming staff made the experience all the more enjoyable. Great cafe to stop by, garunteed satisfaction.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The coffee and food are delicious, the staff are attentive and accommodating, and the food comes out quickly. It's a perfect spot near the station, ideal for brunch.
