With over ten years of experience in customer service, I've seen how important customer care is, and it's clear that this store lacks that awareness. I was extremely disappointed.
As a follow-up, my coworker went to the store to pick up the order. After waiting 30 minutes, she was informed that the order had never been received. When my coworker returned, I called the store again and asked to speak with a manager, only to be told she was busy. After explaining the situation, they managed to locate my order and said they would process a refund. However, before I could say anything else, they hung up on me. I've noticed that minorities often face difficulties at this location. The management seems to make it especially challenging for these individuals to receive service, even when they are willing to pay. Additionally, the way management addresses complaints is troubling, as they tend to dismiss them without taking any action. It's disheartening to witness instances of racial profiling here. I've formally reported these issues to both the NJ Labor and Workforce Department and the Health Department.

The staff were rude and seemed indifferent about how my bowl and smoothie turned out. They made mistakes twice, and they struggled with the register, having trouble entering my phone number, as the computer wouldn't accept it. I ended up leaving without my order. The employee didn't offer any assistance. I recommend going to the one in Westfield instead; it's much better! Food rating: 2/5.
I always order from here because it's so good. One time, we ordered three bowls and they arrived completely melted, almost like cereal. We called the manager, and he promptly issued a refund. It was just a one-time mistake, and they handled it well. Overall, the food is fantastic!
I ordered a smoothie, and there was an inch of space at the top even though I paid $11 for it. It was loaded with so much protein powder that I couldn't taste the fruit at all, and I couldn't even finish it because it was just unpleasant. Food rating: 1/5.
This is 100% the best playa bowls in my area. Everyone is always very kind and easy going, not to mention the incredible quality is always CONSISTENT!! Not common now a days!

Wish I could give this no stars. This place is horrible. I got 4 bowls and each bowl was messed up.. plus I got 3 kiwi and greens from the strawberry all in my bowls
