From the outside, the restaurant appeared closed due to its lighting and the ink on the windows. However, once I entered, I was surprised by the beautiful interior. I certainly didn't expect to see fine dining tables everywhere. The waitress was very attentive and friendly, and I never had to wait for a drink refill. My family was thrilled to find that they served Jarritos. The food was outstanding, especially the chicken tacos. However, the most fascinating part was the seven cameras placed in such a small room. We couldn't help but speculate about their purpose—were they for bar fights? Robberies?
A delightful surprise! This restaurant is situated in a quaint shopping center across from Home Depot. The Mexican cuisine was outstanding—simple yet absolutely delicious. The fish with vegetables was cooked to perfection and looked fantastic. Typically, sides don't steal the spotlight, but here they certainly did. I could keep praising this place, but you should visit and experience it for yourself. The service was also excellent.
Great service, tasty food! The waiters were really great and attentive. It would have been even better if they had drink specials to go with the yummy food. If you like tex-mex, you can't go wrong here. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, a bit pricey, but worth the experience if you are in the area and looking for tex-mex with great and fast service.
I'm not certain if this Plaza Azteca is part of the chain, but I had a pleasant experience there. The ceviche didn't taste as fresh as I expected—perhaps it was pre-prepared rather than made to order. However, the fajitas were delicious. The staff was very attentive to our water needs, even though I ended up with a full cup of ice by the end.

Nice restaurant with a good selection of dishes. Great tasting food and great service. It is located in a small shopping center next to the Bethesda Home Depot, which is not obvious to find, but definitely worth going. This is one of my restaurants.
Amazing! Fast service, friendly and courteous staff and most importantly, authentic delicious Mexican food. The guacamole is a must. We had the Bistec Cubano and the Trio Saltado, both quite tasty. Covid friendly, definitely coming back for more !
In my humble opinion, Plaza Azteca stands out as one of the finest Mexican/Tex-Mex restaurants in the greater DC area. The friendly staff, attentive service, and mouthwatering menu options all contribute to a fantastic dining experience.
