Without a doubt, this is the best Mexican restaurant in the East suburbs. I visited for the first time today, and it immediately became my favorite spot. The Mexican fried rice is surprisingly the standout dish on the menu; you wouldn't expect it to be as incredible as it is. It comes cheesy by default, but you can enhance it with toppings like chicken or shrimp, which takes it to another level. I also tried the Birria Tacos, and they were phenomenal—absolutely unreal. I wanted to order the churros as well, but I was so full I could barely move! Perhaps I’ll go back tomorrow just for the churros. I had a great first experience at this restaurant, but after dining there yesterday, I won't be returning. My granddaughter and I ordered the two tacos with rice and beans combo for $15.95 each. Unfortunately, the tacos had very little ground beef; they consisted mainly of white cheese and lettuce – that was it! There was no flavor at all, no pico de gallo, and not even an offer of sour cream. For $15.95, it's simply not worth it. Additionally, a Dr. Pepper cost $3.50. I don’t mind paying for a good meal or even a decent one, but this felt like a complete rip-off.
I encountered a significant language barrier while trying to order. The waitress didn’t understand that we needed more salsa and ended up taking our chips away. We asked for sour cream three times, but it didn’t arrive until much later when she finally brought a small plastic cup. When the bill came, I was charged three dollars for the sour cream that we had to keep asking for. I also think I received the wrong burrito. Overall, it was quite frustrating, and I won’t be returning.
I visited this restaurant for my birthday, and I had a fantastic time. The ribeye tacos were absolutely delicious! I loved the adorable Bathtime drink so much that I ended up having two. The Mexican corn was tasty as well. The only downside was that there were a few flies in the restaurant. Despite that, I would definitely come back. Thank you for making my 43rd birthday special! The Mexican food here is fantastic. While it’s a little more expensive than typical Mexican restaurants, it’s definitely worth it. The meat is wonderfully seasoned, the vegetables are fresh, and the staff is prompt and attentive. We really enjoy dining here.
I'm so happy we chose to stop by for lunch. The food was delicious, as usual, and the staff was very friendly. I love the atmosphere, and we've never been disappointed with anything we've ordered. We'll definitely be coming back!
The service here is prompt and friendly, with the staff always ready to assist one another. Drinks and chips were continuously replenished. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the variety on the menu is absolutely incredible!
