We stopped by this Pinxios (tapas) cafe/bar a couple of times during our stay in Bilbao and enjoyed coffee, a glass of wine and a small selection of their food offerings. It has a very nice ambience, open to the street, and the food was very good and ideal for a light snack. You can stand as the locals do, or you can sit on some small high tables. There is a street sitting area as well. The servers on all three occasions were very welcoming and patient with our broken Spanish. If you are in the area you won't go wrong stopping here.
We stopped in for Saturday afternoon drinks and snacks at this cozy small bar on Gran Via. During our time spent there, we ordered 6 pintxos from the wide selection along the bar. With half being eaten at room temperature and half being heated in the microwave, all were generous in size and delicious. In fact, we could easily have stayed there for a couple of hours and not hesitated to eat our way down from one end of the bar to the other and called it dinner! Plaza Gran Via is definitely one of the best Pintxos bars in town.
Estás en el camino y tienes 4:00 y aún no has comido. porque aquí tienen una variedad de pinchos en todo momento, algunos muy ricos y cálidos. el personal es muy amable, y ponen música alegre y correcta (no reggeatons como sucede en otros lugares que abren a veces). el baño muy lujoso y limpio. y una bonita terraza para sacar al pequeño comedor de la nevera. Puse un 10 (y encantado de no haber terminado en una comida rápida, no para mirar el reloj y lo que es tiempo de comer).
On our recent visit to Bilbao were visited the plaza gran via on several occasions as it was close to our hotel. The staff were very friendly and even though we only spoke broken Spanish they always were friendly and they appreciated our attempts at the local language. The pintxos were good value and lots of choice. Great value for money on breakfast and beers and pintxos later at night. Well worth a visit.
Just along form the hotel so visited for breakfast and a drink on the way home whilst we were in Bilbao Always really busy but staff quick and efficient Plenty of choice of Pintxo and good value at 2.6 euro for a coffee and Pintxo for breakfast
This place was right next to our hotel and looked great. Good selection of little pintxos and all we tried were really tasty. Staff were very friendly and gave us lots of tips for what to do in Bilbao!
Hemos sido una vez por casualidad, pero nos encantó, super amistosos bartenders y sándwiches muy ricos más ensaladas, lo que siento que no volverá en un tiempo desde que vivo unos 1000 km
Muy buenos desayunos, merece la pena venir de Barcelona y dar un pequeño paseo para ir a propósito a desayunar
