Drive by Safeway store and see this place decided to give a shot call my kids and told them about it so they can check their menu walk in and immediately feel disrespect and rejected the owners were very rude it looks to me that they just were sitting to eat so they were not happy that I walked in, didn't get a chance to order anything,I know restaurant business is hard but it was no one else there so they were not busy for they to make me feel that way, anyway no hard feelings I use to own a restaurant i know how it is I wish them well!
the personal is not very friendly. act as if they don't want to be there. whatever, not a big thing when they order to go. except when they hurry to work and when it is time for lunch, they know that they are oktopus instead of salmon and zero poke sauce on the dry brown rice. how do they screw up, I wrote my order on the sheet. whole bowl is sucked. waste of money and hungry.
Mediocre food and rude boss. You can hear the asian lady owner yelling in the back and disturbing everyone in line just trying to order food. Not coming back as the food was not fresh. The owner also seemed annoyed as she was taking my order as she woke up on the wrong side of the bed.
I love Poke Makana, as it reminds me of taste and taste I had on my trip to Maui. You let your proteins and beats choose and can either be in a bowl or a burrito the ? Tortilla? is nori. Excellent taste and I always leave satisfied. What else could you ask? Just go and find out.
That's one of my favorite poker shots I've ever been. We recently moved to another part of the Portland subway and made it a point to go back to Poke Makana to get another of their shells because we missed it so much. They are wonderful and the food is fantastic.
One of my favorite poke spots in the whole Portland area. A little pricey, but I feel the quality of food is fresh and they give a lot of toppings. Their drinks are so fantastic too! I will drive 30 minutes out of my way to eat here.
Friendly staff, wonderful food. The atmosphere could use some work. I got what I wanted out of it though; A hefty portion of healthy food. Got 2 bowls and 2 teas for about $37. Great value.
I often command to eat here. Poke Bowl has a variety of protein choices and vegetable choices. It is very healthy for weight loss, but the brown rice is a little short and not enough.
Use to be one of my favorite places to go but they have a serious cross-contamination problem. Having a serious scallop allergy; I can’t go anymore.
