12/1/23 was our first time at the restaurant and wanted to try a different style French dining. The place seems to need some repairs especially the entry door, it was difficult to pull open, and was asked by bartender to pull the door close. For the most part the place seemed quiet but can get a bit loud. The food and service was a new experience for us, and the food was actually delicious. That evening before going to bed we were fine, but in the middle of the night my wife and I both woke up stomach virus, with no other choice but to stay close to the bathroom for obvious reasons. Please be aware what dish you order should decide to try the French/African cuisine. Not sure if we will retur...
I have been several times and those times the food and service was great. Not this time, service was slow, bartender woman was borderline rude. 3 of us had entirely different dishes and each one was equally horrible. The lobster roll had more bacon than lobster. Lamb burger was not cooked properly and the fries were dry and old, lastly the fish with spinach and roasted potatoes was embarrassing, couldn't find the potatoes or spinach. If this was first time would never have gone back and not sure either one of us will again.
I know the head chef/owner from another restaurant he previously worked years ago. I loved the options he provided on the menu. My only critique would be the food was a little salty. My friend had the smoked salmon omelet which we know smoked salmon can be quite salty but I also had the lamb burger which was also heavily season. I love flavor with my food, i just like to be mindful of the sodium. I would go back again.
Some friends took my husband n I the first time, then we took our 2 children who r in their 20’s n old enough to imbibe and most recently we took some friends of ours and each time the food was de-lish, great atmosphere, tasty drinks n just a great place for a great meal. Went with my sister-in-law around 2 pm. I ordered the grilled salmon and she ordered the mussels. So tasty and delicious, especially the tarragon sauce. I also had a cocktail called Little Africa which was fabulous! I had the best time!
I ordered a steak mashed potatoes and spinach dish. I wasn't great at pronouncing the menu, but I got a great lesson from our server!! Delicious food and sweet and gracious host and servers! I'll be back!
Absolutely LOVED it. The food was DELICIOUS. The servers were very attentive. I was with a large group and everyone and everything was amazing.

Love this place. A little treasure. Had the enst waiter. Wish the menu had more Senegalese dishes tho.
