During my recent visit to Popeyes, we ended up waiting for over an hour in the drive-thru. After being stuck for 15 minutes without progressing toward the ordering station, it was clear that leaving would have been the better option, but there were already three cars behind us. When I finally got to the ordering point, the employee took my order but didn’t mention the wait time or explain the slow movement of the line. The line then remained completely stalled for another 15 minutes. The same employee asked me to repeat my order three more times while we waited, seemingly assuming new customers were arriving since the line wasn’t moving at all.

The drive-thru at Popeyes is always slow and crowded. They often run out of many menu items, and once you’re in line with cars behind you, it feels like you’re stuck. Tonight, I waited for 20 minutes and could only leave because the two cars behind me decided to pull out. I was told they only had spicy chicken thighs and breasts, and the only side left was rice—this was just 30 minutes before closing. After hearing about the limited options, I waited another 15 minutes with no one taking my order. I was honestly relieved when the two cars behind me backed up and left!
I spent 35 minutes waiting in the drive-thru with only four cars ahead of me. During that time, I saw the manager leave the lot and return five minutes later. The fries tasted as if they had been sitting in oil for a while, and the iced tea was quite warm. I won't be returning to this restaurant again. If there had been a way to escape the drive-thru, I would have taken it. Unfortunately, the chicken wasn't great either, which I was hoping would at least be a redeeming factor. But no, it fell short too!
I went to pick up a DoorDash order, but the staff ignored me for a while before finally asking what I needed. When I mentioned I was there for a pickup, they proceeded to help other customers instead. A man came in, who turned out to be a former employee, and the staff were very friendly with him, taking his order and serving him while I continued to wait. In the end, I had to cancel my DoorDash order and walk out. This isn’t the first time I’ve encountered such poor service at this restaurant.

This is the worst place to get fast food. It does taste good but the long time waiting in the line was ridiculous. There were just 3 people working that date. We were stuck in the drive through for a long 42 minutes. There is not way out in the drive through and we had cars in the back and front. It was the most frustrating experience ever had in a fast food restaurant in my whole life. This restaurant do not have fast food but car food. Do not go here.
I drove 35 minutes to get to Popeyes, only to find just four cars ahead of us in line. Shortly after arriving, we saw the manager coming and going to watch a game. The fries were overly greasy from being overcooked in oil, and the iced tea was warm. The chicken was also disappointing, which was a letdown since I hoped that would be the only problem. Honestly, if I could have gotten out of the car, I would have. I won’t be returning.
I waited an extra 20 minutes, only to watch a customer who arrived before me get served first. In total, my order took 55 minutes when it should have been ready in 15. The customer service was incredibly disappointing. The staff seemed idle, and the entire experience felt unprofessional. I wasted my entire lunch break waiting for a pre-ordered meal. This restaurant is in serious need of new management.
Popeyes is a wonderful spot for a meal! Although my visit was slower than expected, with almost a 30-minute wait despite only two cars ahead of me, the food arrived hot and fresh, which was a definite plus. I would certainly return, hoping they can speed up the service next time.

First experience with Popeyes. Not good. Ordered chicken burger...delivered by Uber eats in a timely manner. Chicken was not crispy..definitely reheated and bun was very soggy. No pickles as depicted on menu and very little mayo. So disappointing!!
