This is the worst customer experience that I believe I have ever had. They messed up our food and want to argue with us there was a young Hispanic guy there that just kept it going. He didn’t even take my order I’m asking him were is the lady who took my order I don’t know I don’t know is all he kept saying. The lobby closed at 10 they had it closed at 8:53I ordered the 2 can dine on the app for 10.99 show her my phone pay for everything and get back to work with only two pieces of chicken my break 30 min I’m calling the store it just keeps hanging up so I had to go back up there. So get back up there now they don’t even sell 5pcs of chicken just 2pc said the young boy. So it all boils down...
Chicken... Kind of hard to mess this up, unless you specifically ask for dark meat and they throw a mixed bag of both dark and white meat at you. Training issue? Possibly. In all honesty though, I get the feeling that the employee(s) just dont reallycare. The door has issues and it is difficult to open. Almost as if they don't want dine in customers. The dining area is acomplete mess. None of the tables were clean. Many still had garbage from previous diners on them. There were 2 employeessitting at the raised table just watching their phones and giggling instead of taking any sort of pride in their store. I ate myfood, which was ok. Not great, just ok! I was very disappointed with both the food and the service at this location. I enjoy Popeye's Chicken, but I won't be returning here again! The specialty item, hushpuppy shrimp, was terrible. The shrimp were heavily breaded but surprisingly still had the tails on them, which was quite unexpected. Additionally, we were taken aback when we noticed that the server at the window was wearing a concert t-shirt instead of a uniform shirt, which felt very unprofessional.
I had the worst experience at a fast food restaurant ever, and that’s saying something since my expectations are already pretty low for such places! I was completely ignored at both the drive-thru and the counter. It wasn’t because they were busy—because they definitely weren’t—but rather that they just didn’t seem to be good at their jobs. The staff’s behavior was oddly off-putting and unsettling.

Ordered a chicken sandwich with bacon and cheese and they left the paper from the cheese on my sandwich (under the melted cheese). The chicken on the sandwich was extremely greasy and my fries were cold. I usually don’t post reviews but this is the 3rd time I’ve tried this location and I’ve had nothing but bad experiences. I would not recommend the NORTHLAKE, TX location. Service: Take out
I strongly recommend avoiding this place! Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The staff seemed untrained, and the chicken was poorly cooked. Additionally, the employees were quite rude. This establishment really needs to reevaluate its operations or consider closing down so that a more competent restaurant can take its place.
If I could give them zeros or negative numbers I would. Ordered 2 5pcs with 2 sides each and 5 jalapeños. They gave me a total of 4pcs, only 2 outta 4 sides and NO JALAPEÑOS. Their phone does an automatic hang up and I only have a 30min lunch. Trust they will see me tomorrow!!! Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Wish I had looked at the reviews for this location before going as my experience is pretty much summed up by the rest of the reviews. The food was super dry and tasted as if it had been sitting out all day.
