If you were a zombie, and if zombies had dreams, you'd be irresistibly drawn to fried green tomatoes at the fictional Whistle Stop Cafe, thanks to Fannie Flagg's beloved novel. For those who adore hot buttered biscuits, popcorn shrimp, and fried chicken but don't reside in Louisiana, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Beltsville offers a comparable experience. In the spirit of Farmer Hoggett's proud acknowledgment in the classic film Babe, I’d say, “That’ll do, Pig!” when it comes to their menu.
Who can resist Popeyes? Their bright orange and white branding instantly draws you in. That's why I decided to stop by for the deal mentioned on the back of my receipt. By sharing my feedback, I received two pieces of chicken and a biscuit, with the purchase of a large drink. The chicken was cooked to perfection and served fresh out of the fryer. The service was outstanding, and the waiting area was spotless. This is why I will keep coming back to this location—superior food, welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service.
I come at this restaurant every other weekend, and today was my first time i tried the flounder fish sandwich spicy. And honestly i ate it because i was hungry , but is WAY TOO SALTY. Spicy is good , but i don’t know if the sauce is salty or the fish has salt in it ?But i stay with the chicken better , always served hot and fresh. Restaurant is clean , service is great and fast. And because of that way too salty fish they don’t get my 5 stars.

We ordered takeout from Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen and unfortunately received the wrong order. They also forgot to include our dipping sauce, and the French fries were refried—greasy and many were burnt and hard. Overall, we were very disappointed with both the food and the service.

The staff was competent but the food was slightly greasier than it should have been and the portions were smaller than other Popeyes.

The staff are friendly and professional! However, the chicken was old and greasy! We got sick immediately after eating it.
