Years ago, I went to Poppy's Place to celebrate my niece's conformation and my sister eats here all the time and recommended this establishment. We were excited to try this restaurant again on July 2, 2023. The Rigatoni Ala Vodka was bland and pale in coloration and definitely did not look or taste like traditional Rigatoni Ala Vodka. Most importantly, my son ordered the Angel Hair Primavera with chicken and got violently ill after consumption; he did not even finish the entire dish! He had all symptoms aligned to food poisoning and is still having bad cramping as I type this review. When I called the restaurant to suggest to throw the sauce away, the lady told me that the sauce was made yes...
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and our waitress was friendly. I ordered the eggplant Parmesan hero, which was fantastic. My dining companions also enjoyed their meals. I highly recommend this place and would love to return. It has a cozy, neighborhood vibe, perfect for a casual outing—no need to dress up. Next time, I might try their impressive dinner special with all the sides, especially when I'm really hungry. We dined in and had great service!

Ordered eggplant rollatini and chicken parm for dinner after a long day. Both were absolutely delicious. Sauce was flavorful (and not oily) and sandwich was nicely layered. We will definitely return! Today, my brother, husband and I were at your restaurant for my brother's birthday celebration. The food, as well as the staff, were outstanding!!!!! What a nice place to enjoy all of life's amenities!!! I will DEFINITELY recommend this establishment to others.
Poppys isn't much to look at as it is old time small restaurant seating area after waking them the bar. But the service and food are always top Noth and you definitely are made to feel at home and a regular even if it's your first time
