I work near Port Chester Seafood and decided to give it a try during my lunch break recently. The soft-shell crabs and swordfish were absolutely outstanding! They were fresh and served hot, and I’m excited to sample more from the menu. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and well-informed. I highly recommend this spot for a quick meal or for taking home some fresh seafood. They even offer supplies for prepping and cooking. If I could rate it a 6 out of 5, I definitely would! The prices are also very reasonable, which can be rare in the seafood market. I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience yesterday impressed me so much that I wanted to share my support. I plan to visit again...

I discovered this spot just five minutes from my sister’s place while visiting, and what a fantastic find! They offer an impressive variety of fresh seafood and an excellent lunch menu from 11 to 3. I chose the grilled salmon with rice and dill sauce. The highlight was definitely the fish—it was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. I also loved the coleslaw; it was simple, fresh, and not overly sweet or heavy on mayo. The food took a bit of time to arrive, so if you’re in a hurry, I’d recommend calling ahead. The service was truly thoughtful and friendly. I might have to come back tomorrow before leaving the state for their scallops!
I buy smoked salmon in bulk (3-5 lbs). I live in Yonkers, about a 40 minute drive from Port Chester. I called Port Chester Seafood TWICE and they confirmed that they sell 1 lb frozen packets for $14.99. So I drive out there ... 8 oz $14.99. It NEVERCEASES to amaze me ... with CovID19 ... the level of unethical and fraudulent behavior that merchants will engage in. Alsowhile in the store ... fresh sea scallops ... $29/lb ... about 50% higher in price and lower quality than Whole Foods (whichitself is considered a premium store). Take your business elsewhere.

I lived in Oregon where fish n chips and clam chowders are also popular and great, and this place is as great as those in the west coast! Great fish n chips perfectly cut, just the right thickness, breaded generously enough, not saggy, not oily! PS: I wanted more meat in the Lobster bisque !
The best fish I’ve ever had, and the most beautiful female customer I’ve ever seen in my life. Not the standing woman in the photo. You think I’m crazy? No. It was the woman sitting down—I tried to sneak a photo, but she caught me with her eyes.

I tried the fish and chips today, but I'm not sure the fish was really cod. It was dry and seemed a bit overcooked. The fries were delicious, however, and the coleslaw was decent.
Wonderful atmosphere and very affable service. The food was crisp and delicious. Will easily recommend this spot to friends. Convenient prices and large meals. Good job.
