I ordered the vegetable soup and a sandwich of the day during lunch hours. The soup was mid, and I didn 't have time to eat the sandwich since I needed to get back to work. When you first walk in, the sign says, Seat yourself. Normally, I enjoy picking where I sit, but it took forever to be acknowledged and assigned a server. I had three servers come by and tell me that they didn 't know who 's turn it was to take my table; none of which would at least take my drink order in the meantime. At least the restaurant looked cool inside
First time here, came with a friend. I got the chicken Caesar salad, got the chicken blackened. Friend got the Stone Soup Salad with grilled chicken added and the raspberry vinaigrette dressing. It was all so delicious. Definitely plan on coming back! Also, the waitress we had (I didn't get her name) was a customer of mine when I worked at Publix! Was so nice to see her again!
Lunch stop while visiting st pete from wpb. All my years visiting my BFF lisa, I never ate here. The other side is more my style. Needless to say my loss!! Great food. Great service by lisa. Next time ill visit both sides!!! Roast beef on an onion pocket, sprouts and horseradish and a side of NE chowder
My daughter and I were in the area on a little weekend trip and stopped in here for dinner. The food was excellent! Service was a little slow, as we did have to wait a little bit for someone to acknowledge us and provide menus. We both ordered the soup and sandwich combo and thoroughly enjoyed!

Repeat customers we’ve always had solid food every visit. The Cactus Chili is especially good and I haven’t had a bad sandwich. The servers are friendly and prompt. They seem to have a broad beer selection too if that is your thing.
Lisa was my waitress service was exceptional sandwich was a turkey avocado, Swiss cheese bacon and the soup was off the chart for being fresh. The cheese broccoli was to die for. i’m coming back next time for a dessert
My favorite is the chicken salad on swirl bread and the hearty veggie soup. Also the Stone Soup Salad. Very consistent over 20 years of eating there.
My favorite sandwich place in St. Petersburg, their spicy basil aoli is amazing! I recommend substituting regular mayo non anything for it.
