I just placed an online order, only to arrive at the location and find that an employee had put up a makeshift sign indicating they were closed that day. My order was not refunded. I attempted to call Potbelly for assistance, but the staff was very rude and unhelpful. They told me I needed to contact the Arden Hills location (which had no employees there, unfortunately) and refused to provide any company contact number. All I want is a refund for my order or my actual order when I visit next. It seems my only option is to leave a review, as Potbelly hasn’t been helpful in resolving this issue.
I tried calling on Tuesday, but the phone just kept ringing with no voicemail. On Wednesday, I was near the area again, and the sign on the door indicated they closed at 1 PM, but it was only 12:20 PM, and once more, no one was there, with people hanging around, waiting for their orders. I understand the challenges of the current job market, but the app shouldn't allow you to make a purchase and charge your card if the location is closed. I'm giving this one star since I haven’t received a refund and feel like they are taking advantage of customers.
I would rate zero stars if I could. This Potbelly is literally never open, and even when it is it's an absolute disaster. This predates the Lexington construction as well so they can't even use that excuse. Going back YEARS now they are constantly closing early with no notice, if they open at all. PAY YOUR WORKERS. There are people to hire, if you can't find them then your wages are too stingy. It's honestly shocking this place is even still open considering how few sales they much get by literally never being open.
I completely understand being understaffed and needing to cut back hours. But this location has been closed the past 4 times I've tried to eat there in the last week. Today I even came during their advertised open hours posted on the door and it was closed (Wednesday at 6). Again, it's understandable, but at the very least update your advertised hours. This was my first time trying Potbelly, and I now see what all the excitement is about! My turkey sandwich was flawlessly made and tasted like it came straight from Chicago. I wish I could give more stars, both for the restaurant and for the wonderful Dasher!

The hours listed online never match the actual hours. I drove all the way there only to find handwritten signs. This is the third time this has happened. I'm officially done with this location.
