Potbelly is a solid sandwich shop in my opinion. Have been to a couple in DC and this location was just as good. The sandwiches are creative and above average in my opinion. I had the meatball sandwich and my wife had a roast beef, they were both good. The hot peppers are pretty spicy, I happen to like it spicy but some may not like it that spicy. If you haven't eaten at Potbelly's but eat at Jimmy John's or Quiznos regularly, give them a try, I think you will like it. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. The staff did take a little time to take our order but it was not too long. Overall good experience.
The Wreck was very bad, the bread is hard and there is almost nothing on the sandwich. It also took 25 minutes longer than claimed for thefood to be made. I have had issues with this specific potbelly before and sadly things have not improved.
the broccoli cheddar was great, but the steakhouse beef literally tasted like a fermented gym sock.. that truly was the mental image the flavor gave me.. took one bite and couldnt even chew it.. spare yourselves from that culinary tragedy
