that was our first pub lunch in over a year. we were accompanied by my daughter, her husband and children. in the open air to eat we had very comfortable sitting in a protected place, although the lunch menu on Sunday seemed limited. it was exactly what the doctor ordered. selection of meats huh or gammon. beautifully prepared choice of veg roasts and maische kartoffeln. huge portions, but my year old big daughter cleared her plate. simple choice of puddings. drinks were at a reasonable price the cost were very fair. service was excellent, especially as the young ladies had to walk up and down. the manager kept a cautious eye on everything. all in all a beautiful visit

Had an amazing takeaway tonight, the food was full of flavour, had that real home cooked feel and taste about it, the portions were fantastic and hit every spot in contentment and taste, would highly recommend this little gem and will certainly be coming back...this weekend as the cheesecakes are pretty special here and they do sunday lunches to take away too, such a lovely clean pub and very welcoming staff and the ales are fantastic, I can't wait to be able to be back in here very soon.

the best pub I was in. the drinks prices are so reasonable and the personal is absolutely beautiful.
