Prairie Ink Restaurant

Admittedly, although I am what I would consider a frequent diner at Prairie Ink for dinner, I have never been for lunch; and in light of this visit, will think twice before going again. Or perhaps it's a different cook during the day. And I say cook, because certainly not a chef at the helm on this visit.Both my companion and I chose the soup of the day "chicken and leek" as our side and not only were there no leeks, it bore neither taste or look of chicken. It was loaded with carrots and celery and definitely beef. When we asked our waitress she disappeared and returned saying it was dark chicken meat. Sorry, but no.My open faced "special" chicken sandwich was tasteless and the chicken brea...

Love the vibe of this restaurant and I am continually amazed at how busy it always is! The menu has an excellent variety - something for everyone. I enjoyed a vegetarian pizza - delicious and my girlfriend enjoyed the tortiere pie. A great stop for a visit and lunch before taking in a movie.

I brought my husband here for the first time and he absolutely loved it. The food was worth the price. The ambience was perfect. By the end of our date, my husband said he will try the other food next time. So we are definitely coming back ?

Checked their website before. Arrived at 1:45pm. Seated at 2:05pm.Asked for the breakfast menu, they announced that they stopped serving it at 2pm while there is no mention of that on their website.So we left…

Prairie ink is always consistent. Their food doesn't ever really change and while that can be boring it is also their staple. You know when you go what the quality is of the product. Decent overall.

Went for the first time today with friends for lunch. Service was very good given that the place was full. A bit pricey, but still enjoyed the Reuben sandwich and a smoothie.
