The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly and helpful. We were greeted warmly by the night receptionist when we arrived around 11:15 PM after a long 6-hour journey. He quickly took care of our check-in and helped us navigate the process of scanning a voucher for a discounted overnight parking rate, which was a huge relief since I'm not a fan of automated machines. The restaurant staff the next morning were just as welcoming. Additionally, the location is fantastic, right by the seafront and within walking distance to both the town center and the university.
We spent one night in the "premium suite." The hotel is decent for a budget stay or an overnight trip. However, I have concerns about the cleanliness of our room, as the pillows were dusty. The carpet had some stains, and there were water marks on the bathroom walls, along with rust and mold in the shower. The hotel offers a designated parking lot, but there aren't enough spaces available, so it's better to park on the street for free overnight and then move the car. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth.
The location is absolutely perfect, with the beach just across the road. On-site parking is available for £4 for 24 hours, which is quite reasonable. However, our room looked a bit worn, and the shower had more of a dribble than a proper flow. We had requested a sea view room, and we were not disappointed; the view was definitely the highlight of our stay. While we were a bit let down by the price considering the room’s condition, we tried to make the most of our two-night stay.
I just returned from a one-night stay here and I couldn't find anything to complain about. Becky was wonderful during check-in; despite being busy, she welcomed me with a smile and engaging conversation. The room was lovely—clean, spacious, and offered a perfect sea view. Breakfast was bustling, but all the food was hot and well-prepared.

I received a warm welcome from the manager upon my arrival. The staff took excellent care of me throughout my stay. There was a great variety of food options for both dinner and breakfast. I also enjoyed the added bonus of having a room with a sea view. The parking fee was reasonable at £4 for 24 hours.
Sigh. This hotel disappointed. The room was in a poor state of repair. Shower broke. Extractor fan broke. Bathroom lights broke. The only positive from the entire stay is that the hotel is centrally located. I can't imagine ever choosing another Premier Inn hotel again. I would need to be desperate.
Had a few stays here, good rooms and good views if you are lucky enough to get one on the front. But then unfortunately no window to open but it could be noisy. Restaurant within is ok for usual chain type food but better for unlimited breakfast. WiFi connection is poor.
The breakfast was enjoyable, and the location is excellent, situated directly across from the bandstand. The windows could use some cleaning, but it didn't negatively impact my overall experience.

A good clean room and an excellent breakfast. The parking is rather steep, especially as we fitted 4 scooters into 1 parking space and were charged the same as 4 cars.
