**Positives:** This is one of the best Premier Inns I’ve experienced, apart from the newer ones in the UK. The double beds are very comfortable, and the shower offers strong hot and cold water. The room is spacious, with ample desk space. The reception staff is friendly and cheerful, and breakfast at the connected restaurant is good. There is also plenty of parking available. **Negatives:** There aren't many downsides to mention, but if I had to be picky, there aren't many dining options besides the restaurant next door. However, there is a Subway across the road.
I stayed here for six nights in June, marking my second visit to this hotel. As always, everything was perfect. The reception staff is the best I've encountered at any Premier Inn, particularly the lovely Georgina, who is always friendly and helpful. I'd also like to give a big shout-out to the entire cleaning team. My room and the corridors were immaculate, and all the cleaners greeted me with smiles and friendly hellos. Cleaners are the unsung heroes of the hospitality industry, and this team truly deserves recognition. I had a great stay—thank you! I’ll be back!
Whilst they offer car parking free for guests, the car park is chargeable for anybody else who enters the car park. I was fined for stopping 15 minutes whilst visiting a guest in the car park, I didn't even leave my car, which was ridiculous in a half empty car park. Whilst the car park and fines aren't run by premier inn, it is still the car park on the site of the hotel and reflects badly on Premier Inn. Simply visiting for 20 minutes to book a room for a future date would result in a fine in the post, not a good look for the hotel. This isn't central London!
Sharon was amazing—so friendly and accommodating, providing 10/10 service! There were a few areas for improvement: the WiFi frequently disconnected, there was no air conditioning (although we were given a fan, it could have been better), and the TV had a poor connection. This is our second time staying at this Premier Inn on our way to Norfolk. It's the only Premier Inn that has called us in advance to check if everything was alright and to offer some snacks for the kids when we arrived in the room. We slept very well and enjoyed a good breakfast in the morning. Thank you!
