The Press offers a great atmosphere for a variety of ages, collegiate to retirees offering good fresh, clean food even vegan entrees And freshly prepared yummy desserts. The entertainment featured Bill Barrett, a world class musician who tours throughout Europe and plays his chromatic harmonica. The Press is obviously highly regarded judging from the crowds gathered around the entrance waiting to secure seating when we left at about 10:30 pm! I 'm glad our early arrival guaranteed us a great table and we took advantage of 'through the evening 's Happy Hour prices ' that they offered on house wines. Thoroughly enjoyed our Thursday evening out!
What a delightful spot! The ambiance is charming, reminiscent of a cozy, upscale pub. I enjoyed the filet mignon medallions accompanied by seasoned potatoes and garlic green beans, and they were outstanding. I ordered the beef medium, and it was cooked to perfection! I also appreciated the delicious and reasonably priced Argentine Malbec. The service was fantastic. You really can’t go wrong here with the inviting atmosphere, great food, and friendly staff!
We’ve been living here for a year and finally decided to stop by this restaurant. We sat at the bar and chatted with a local who recommended us to try the food. He shared the history of the place and gave us some tips on the menu (the black chicken tacos are a must-try!). We enjoyed a fantastic dinner and drinks. Definitely worth a visit!
