I'm originally from New York, where I've had my fair share of heroes and hoagies, and I can confidently say this is what a hero/hoagie should taste like. The meat-to-cheese ratio was just right, and the bread was absolutely perfect. I tried the Italian Diablo, and it was so delicious that I plan to go back tomorrow before heading back to NYC!
Primo's consistently ranks among the top restaurants in Philadelphia, and the fact that it's a franchise speaks volumes. It's quite impressive, and this is definitely one of the better spots.
Unfortunately, there was only one gentleman working, and he was handling multiple orders at once. Despite that, he managed to get through everything. I will definitely return in the future.
