We visited Primo's the last time we were in the area and decided to return last week. We chose it because it was conveniently located near our hotel, and it didn't disappoint! We shared a pizza, a salad, and a cannoli. The salad was very fresh, and the pizza was fantastic! We opted for the traditional thin crust (they also offer Sicilian) topped with peppers and roasted red peppers. It was the perfect combination of a delicious crust, flavorful sauce, and tasty toppings. They also have a full menu of Italian favorites. Highly recommend!
So I've been a New Windsor/Newburgh native since I was born and I can say this is the best pizza in the area. I've tried the big named chains and the mass amount of local spots that this area is almost over flooded with, but this is the best one and I wish I knew about them much sooner. I was introduced to them by a close friend who lives near them, as I assume is the case for most people who order pizza in their area. However, I recommend giving them a try even if it's a little out of the way. I promise you won't be disappointed.
If you want a napkin waste, greasy, drippy, absolutely DELICIOUS NYC style cake, go to Primo's. This is the stuff tourists go to New York to taste and it is here in our own garden. The price can feel strong due to inflation, but what companies do not currently increase prices? HIGHLY recommend. But don't you come here if you're looking for something healthy?
The best part of the meal was the incredibly sweet waitress. The pizza was really good and what was even better was the eggplant roll. The eggplant was sliced think and fried to perfection! Absolutely a great little restaurant and they are open late. The servings are nice and large.
The wings were disappointing. They poured an entire bottle of mild sauce into the container, which ended up staining my car seat. The service was terrible as well.
Best veal parmigiana, real thick juicy veal, not pounded. Great pizza. Owner and staff friendly and courteous. Give it a try and you'll be back for more.
