Finally had the chance to try the Prince Street Cafe in York. Walking in, I was immediately charmed. The brightness and clean, contemporary feel was fresh and all the plants so welcoming. The wait staff, on the other hand, were NOT welcoming. When we placed our order, we were made to feel like we were a complete bother. We ordered the Southwestern Chicken Burrito, the Herb Ricotta veggie bowl, and an orange juice. The food was SO Good, but we never got the oj. Asked twice, still never got it. With all the great reviews, i have been wanting to try this cafe for sometime now. We finally had a chance. I love the modern/contemporary theme, it's clean and sleek. There are many food and bakery options. I was hoping for a a few more coffee syrup options, but I went wth my go to a caramel latte and hubby had the same. We chose to eat in. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We received our food items well before our coffee which was a bit odd. The server asked if there was anything else and we told her our coffee. Stopped in for a quick espresso and americano coffee on our way through town last Friday afternoon Highly recommended, they actually KNOW how to serve espresso. You can tell the manager/owner? Is doing their best in a not so great area of town with the crazies outside, but inside is clean, well run and professional. I'd stop in again next time I'm in town. Meal type: Other
This place is amazing! We were in York and came upon it. Very clean and bright. Lots of windows. We got the blueberry oatmeal and WOW ! (And I don 't like Oatmeal! It was outstanding! Coffee and coffee art was good but not warm enough, mine was cooler by time I got it. Pastries were good. Great place to sit with good lighting and a calm atmosphere. Tables and chairs were not clean but not sure if they clean them enough or after each use. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast

Meh. Nice and big, clean and bright inside with a lot of cigarette butts scattered around the entrance.So much echo, very hard to converse. Breakfast potato bowls were so salty we each only ate half.

Really clean café with friendly staff. I only had a chance to try a few pastries and drinks, but everything was great. Loved the almond croissant.
