Print Works Bistro

We have enjoyed Print Works many times, but this was a very poor experience. On Thanksgiving Day, we ordered a bottle of wine and the Turkey Roulades entree. In less than ten minutes after ordering, a server brought our entrees, before we had even gotten our wine. A manager soon brought the wine and apologized for the delay. However, the entrees were entirely underwhelming. My first impression was that they had been made up some time ago and had been sitting under a heat lamp for half an hour. They were barely warm, and the sauce on top seemed to have a crust on it. Further, the turkey simply was not enjoyable. It was not tender, was somewhat dry, contained some gristle, and we really needed...

we wanted a good meal for thanksgiving and print works delivered. the only part in the full experience was the amount of noise: nothing loud in and of itself, but about a wide steadfast, the music, lively chatter and dining room sounds created a background battery, so it was a little difficult to talk easily. on the other side we were not rushed in any way. eating was excellent (big risotto) and the service was relaxed, the server and the management was very friendly. always recommend. and the beignets! to be shared and eaten - for dying.

it was thanksgiving, so it was definitiw and understandably louder than usual. However, in the course of time I noticed the food quality and quantity down. for a table of 3 we got a small brot (fine,) with a half of a blower of roasted garlic. the flesh was dry, dense and tasted as if someone had poured a lot of salt into the sauce. we had to give it back, but still booked for it, and had to ask our server again to remove it. service was good, attentive, but unenchanted.
