This is hands down the best knish I've ever tasted! I gladly make the drive from Wildwood in West County just to enjoy these. They also serve generous portions of corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, which are a fantastic value. Although it's not a traditional sit-down restaurant and is rather small, the food is simply exceptional.
Today was my first time trying Protzel’s Deli. I ordered the Turkey Reuben, and it was pretty delicious. The service was good, even though it took a while to make my sandwich. I was also surprised that they had an aisle of food like a convenience store and their own apparel too. I will be back sometime.
This restaurant serves amazing food. The Reuben sandwich is outstanding, and the cupcake is a must-try, along with the babka. I can't express how delicious the flaky layers are. The staff was friendly and patient, answering all our questions since it was our first visit. We will definitely be back!
We tried the corned beef and pastrami sandwiches, as well as the Rachel with turkey. Both were fantastic! The rye bread was perfectly crispy, and everything was freshly grilled. The owner was present and quite an imposing figure! We'll definitely be returning. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
First the service is over the top ...deli with history.. service with a smile .... fantastic flavors and cozy atmosphere...the young gentleman who waited on us was very professional and performed magic with the corned beef and pastrami sandwich
This is the only restaurant in the city that offers authentic Jewish deli cuisine. The matzo ball soup is amazing! (The photo taken during Passover captures one of the busiest days of the year; it's typically not that crowded.)
This place is wonderful. Family owned. Feel like I walked back in time when I walk into the door. Great service. LARGE sandwiches. Try the hot corned beef Ruben sandwich. Great bagels. Fantastic smoked salmon.
I was somewhat disappointed during my visit. I ordered the ribs and creamy coleslaw; while the beef was tough and not tender, the coleslaw was enjoyable. On the bright side, the ribs were excellent! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Absolutely fantastic! The pastrami and corned beef are excellent. This restaurant has a wonderful classic deli atmosphere. I only wish they were open later than 3:00 PM.
