This restaurant in Melbourne is absolutely amazing, maybe even the best in the world! I truly believe they deserve a Michelin Star for their exceptional food. Just thinking about the delicious smells and flavors of their dishes makes my mouth water. People from the States even make the trip to this restaurant, and after trying it myself, I can see why. Trust me, this restaurant is a must-visit and should be on everyone's bucket list. The service is impeccable and they pay attention to every little detail. I initially thought the reviews might be exaggerated, but after experiencing it firsthand, I understand why they have such high ratings.
A great place to take the family to lunch and dinner or get a take away. They are always generous to their customers, provide excellent service and friendly no matter how busy they get. Even now during this trying time they still provide the same level of service and deliciousness in their food. I highly recommend that if you're feeling peckish for Vietnamese food or just feeling hungry in general to visit the Proud Peacock you will definitely not regret it. My family and I never did. They're a favourite since I first step inside their restaurant when they were in Glen Waverley all those years ago.
One of the best Vietnamese Restaurants in town! Things I love about this restaurant are the vibe, their generous amount of food and flavourful dishes. Ordered a Pho Bo (Beef), Chicken Laksa, Singapore Noodles and Lemongrass Pork Vermicelli with spring rolls. Their noodle soups were on the spot! Both the pho and laksa stock were packed with flavours and perfectly balanced. The nuoc chum sauce elevated the vermicelli to a whole new level. Absolutely in love with the freshness of this dish. The Singapore noodles wasn’t bad but appeared to be pale in comparison. Will definitely comeback next time!

This restaurant is one of my top choices for dining out. The staff here are incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food is absolutely delicious. I particularly love the prawn spring rolls and the crispy chicken ribs.
One of the best restaurants in the area. The host was very attentive and kind. We felt like home and very welcomed. Food are great. Love the crispy chicken with tomato rice, pho and chicken ribs!
The food at Proud Peacock was excellent and the service was exceptional! June and her team provided my family with a wonderful experience, even when we ordered takeout to enjoy at home. Amazing!
