I grabbed a menu, looked it over, and decided to order a chicken cheese steak sandwich priced at $8.95. When I went to pay, the cashier informed me that my total was $13. I was taken aback and asked how she arrived at that amount when the menu clearly stated $8.95. She pointed out a small note on the wall that said prices could change. I suggested that it would be more transparent to reflect any price changes directly on the menu. Charging $13 for a cheese steak? That's unacceptable. I requested a refund and decided not to support a business that employs arbitrary price adjustments and lacks transparency in billing. The pizza here is quite good. The BBQ pizza stands out as excellent. I also tried the buffalo pizza, but I'm not a huge fan of blue cheese, and it was definitely present in the dish. I visited right at lunchtime on a Sunday, and though both pizzas were fresh, they needed a bit more warming up. The staff kindly placed the slices in the oven for a few minutes, but they still weren't completely heated when served. Some of the cheese remained at room temperature and was solid instead of melted.
I ordered two large plain pizzas for the first time since the restaurant changed its name. The service was quick and friendly, and the place was clean. The pizzas had a good amount of cheese, and the dough was okay, but there wasn't enough sauce. I couldn't taste any tomato flavor. Personally, I like my pizza with more sauce, and I would recommend adding some oregano and/or basil along with a bit more garlic to enhance the flavors of the cheese.
The owner is incredibly rude and overly focused on making money. I've never been charged for fried onions on a cheesesteak, nor have I ever seen a surcharge on the listed price for Herr's potato chips. When I asked the owner about the extra charge, she simply said, "Because I can." That's not how customer service should be. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I absolutely love the pizza from this place. Although it's a bit off the beaten path, it's always a delightful experience and definitely worth the journey. A large pizza costs around $20, but it's genuinely huge, and just one slice is enough to satisfy your hunger. I highly recommend trying the pizza here, and the garlic knots are equally fantastic!
This is a fantastic place for lunch or dinner, offering a wide range of options. Some of our favorites include the pizza, Buffalo chicken cheesesteak, and the classic cheesesteak. On a side note, they serve the best Oreo cheesecake you'll ever try—definitely give it a shot!
