This restaurant has been my favorite since it opened and I am shocked that I haven't submitted a review for it yet! Every time I walk in this restaurant, it's like a warm hug from friends. The food is phenomenal, the drinks are well balanced, and the staff literally couldn't be friendlier. I'm currently sitting at a table here tonight and the amount of people that walk in with staff calling them by name is incredible. This is a very cute place, great location on the Main Street in Apex, decorations are cute and cozy and was nice inside. very small inside however, it was a cold Tuesday night so sitting down wasn't a problem. Service was great, our server was very good overall. My main reason for the low score was the price. I ordered the spicy tuna tacos. I got 3 tacos, they were medium to small sized with just tuna and a little (dry) coleslaw on them that was the entire meal (no sides, no lettuce, salad, etc) and it was 28 dollars. I just can't get past that price for that little amount of food. I think this is just way over priced for what you are getting. I understand tuna is expensive, so I am willing...
Had dinner here before a concert at Koka Booth Amphitheater. Owners were very accommodating in making our reservation by email from the website. Table for 4 outside on the sidewalk. An absolutely beautiful evening and had an amazing meal! Joe, our waiter, was the perfect host, knowledgeable about the town and all of the food and drinks at The Provintial. Great personality and he made the evening so enjoyable for all. Cocktails were magnificent! 2 of us had the pork chop, which was seasoned perfectly and accompanied by sautéed spinach. I organized my Division's holiday party and am so incredibly thankful we held it at The Provincial. The food was great. The staff was extremely helpful, making sure that my team was never in need of anything. Working with Kristyna to set it all up was a joy. I could not be happier with how it all turned out. Absolutely great food. Most everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. The fries were a bit limp and soggy but the flavor was amazing. Service was slow, but we weren't in a hurry and the server got everything right. The bartender also knows how to pour a dang good drink. We'll definitely be going back.
