Great little French restaurant, small, cosy and romantic full of charm. Went here on my birthday and it did not disappoint. The waitress serving us was French, probably an owner and we loved it. I had onion soup for starter (when in Rome) for the first time and wife had the cheese soufflé and ratatouille Both were splendid and a must try. I had the orange duck duet which consisted of confit duck leg that was crispy and then some tender succulent juicy slices of breast which was nice contrast the complimented each other and gave you the whole duck experience with orange sauce and carrots. I wanted to eat one thing at P’tite ardoise – it always hits Urbanspoon/Zomato, so I was happy to finally get a booking (booking is not easy – they just seem to answer on the afternoon). When you mention good French food in Perth, P’tite Ardoise Bistro always comes to mind Their menu is filled with old-school staples like beef bourguignon, beef tartare, coc au vin and your good old beef fillet steaks; dishes that have been around for so long that they are now considered old-fashioned and boring But boring doesn’t mean bland. There’s a reason the classics have stood the test of time, and dining at P’tite Ardoise Bistro is always a good reminder that traditional can be tasty.
a nice culinary experience at p’tite ardoise last night. the escargots (not in garlic butter) were excellent...maybe the best I've ever eaten was tender and delicious with the Calvados sauce. a little hiccup with the chips that were rectified immediately, but the luscious plant and mandel tart more than for it. thanks to the kitchen team for the delicious food and also the floor team for attentive service. can not wait to come back Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
we had dinner on a Friday night early, few people before us it quickly filled the whole house with pm eating I had chicken cord blue tasty chicken cooked to perfection had broccoli and corn puree with a hauch of aniseed my partner had bark fillet with carrot pureee and mushroom and foie gras, sweetness was dark in the morning. wein good . price really good night will go again.
great little place. I recommended this to a client from melbourne and they liked the food as well. The escargot in the little pots were so yummy and the duck L'orange was great. I had a good apple tart tatin to finish off. Service was good. everyone across the table enjoyed the food.
Hands down the best restaurant i have ever been to. Great service and there foid was absolutely perfect.. there starter, main and dessert was perfect in every way and my wife agrees.. also i love the way they bring out the whiskey and ginger ale.. will be back for sure
I think this is the only French restaurant around this area. Service is very good and staff were all friendly. Bread was very nice and fresh. Venison with cream sauce was delicious. And the Fondant Chocolate amazing. Nice place with delicious food. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
We came here for our anniversary and it was delightfully intimate and delicious. Unobtrusive service, a great selection of wine and interesting specials made it a great occasion. The beef mains were particularly good.
