we arrived on the afternoon and are looking for a drink and perhaps a meal. we sat outside so that we could observe the activity on this little place. the personal took our order and delivered our drinks in less than 15 minutes, which goes well. After we took one table outside, we first met two asking the large number of smokers to the other tables, and clearly above our last common experience, so can be reflective for the (mainly local) clientel. second, the brandise does not cover all tabs. we discovered the effects of this when someone began hammering a stone window, two days upwards, as dust and small pieces of rubbish on and around us. we were not at lunch.
try to find a dining room open in winter in the S.of france outside the midday or evening period. bonne chance! pub st john’s in apt sucks the trend. eating is simple, but varied (burger, kebabs, fish chips, even welsh rarebit) and they will. served by very friendly owners. johnny halliday played in the background, I think the place is quite alive one night.
