A fantastic little restaurant! The service and quality were impeccable and the ambience is great. Be sure to venture beyond the front bar and beer garden into the main restaurant at the rear. Wait staff were attentive and friendly, providing great suggestions and well balanced service without feeling harassed. The food was phenomenal. They've recently revamped the menu and the new food is a wonderful gastronomic adventure. I stumbled across these photos and realised I had not done this review! Oopsy, so it's a bit late, but as the saying goes! This is a gorgeous boutique hotel with an amazing wine list. The service was outstanding and nothing was too much bother, very professional. The meals were very good, few misses on the desserts, but all round very nice. Smoked oysters and side potatoes uber delicious. Prices are on the higher scale of hotel pricing, which sometimes is a concern for me, knowing I could go to a fine dining restaurant for similar prices. I would probably return for the service, ambience and wine list!
Great venue, nice presentation, extensive wine list.. Definitely worth a try. Its not cheap but good food rarely is. The menu has something for almost every taste and the wine list is interesting and has wine covering all price points. The food is well presented and full of flavour. The desserts were a bit hit and miss with our party but I personally loved the cherry ice cream.
Dropped in around 9 on Friday evening. Had the sirloin with garlic mash and flathead goujon & salad. Both meals were delicious and arrived very quickly, even though the the restaurant was fully booked with a function. Staff were friendly and efficient and overall the place had a nice vibe. Came back for the food with friends in the restaurant and had a great experience. Great food and excellent service all night. Brilliant wine list. A spilled glass of wine was dealt with professionally and with a minimum of fuss.
Lovely upmarket pub. Relaxed and contemporary interior. Friendly and attentive service. Icy cold tap beer and delicious menu options. We loved the duck pate and gourmet burger. Highly recommend!!
Awesome pub, had great food here tonight, cool vibe, friendly service. Beef eye fillet cooked nicely. Good selection of beers on tap . Heading back soon!
