The care, compassion and attention to detail Lino and the whole team at Puccini's gave to a celebration of life I helped organize truly touched me. I can't say enough about their amazing food and customer service. They made a very difficult time much easier for a family when they needed it the most and showed a true level of emotional investment in the situation. The spread they put together was absolutely incredible. It was a sad occasion, but it was still momentous and deserved a certain level of quality and decadence which Puccini's delivered on above all expectations. Thank you!
I don't often write reviews but Puccini's is truly special store and I felt I should share a bit.The service is really what set's this establishment apart; I've been coming here for well over a decade now and the service has always been top notch. Lino and Maria are just wonderful people and their staff don't fall short always taking the time to give an education on the the cheese or the meat or whatever you may be looking for.The passion and the knowledge from this family business really shine whenever I visit.
The owner of this business refuses to pay one of their workers. My wife worked here for 39 days and they still haven’t paid her (they owe her almost $2,000! . We’ve already contacted the BC Labour Board to resolve.The owners here also don’t wash their vegetables and also scrape mold off of the cheese on their sandwiches because they’re too cheap to buy fresh products. To be sure, the store itself is lovely.What isn’t lovely is having your receipt thrown to the counter and the machine st aggressive brush off I’ve seen in my 63 years on earth. To be fair to the shop I asked if she was the owner.Yes. She was. BTW I’m clearly handicapped but not a time waster.In and out. However I would rather give my money to Bosa than this woman.
Excellent service and product.Wow! Could spend a while looking around this store, so many unique products. Their catering boards/platters are next level. And the staff are so friendly and helpful. Last time they made me cappuccino while I was looking around. Very nice touch! They’ve nailed both the products and service. Would highly recommend.
Had a weird experience there. Food was good but the main lady was micro managing her entire staff. She wouldn’t let us pay while we waited and then my husband ordered a coffee but she also made him wait to get that made so we waited 20+ min without even coffee to enjoy. It was sort of an uncomfortable service environment
Amazing selection of quality Italian foods! They import their frozen desserts from Italy hence the elevated price. Got the tiramisu and panini, which was amazing. Absolutely magnificent deli! Full of authentic Italian meats, breads and cheese. I couldn't help but buy 2 sandwiches and a bunch of deli meats and cheese. Everything was so delicious, and mouth watering. High recommended to anyone looking for a good lunch ?
