This is a nice place, it's mixture of two cultures that share Mayan ancestry. They made a bean and Loroco pupusa for my husband and they didn't even express how weird that was. They made it for him! Their green salad wasn't just lettuce either, it had cucumbers, romaine, sprinkle of spinach and other I asked for dressing on the side. Next time I'll try their Pupusas with rice flour, Ensalada drink is a must try. I can't wait to go back!
Wow! Great authentic food! My wife and I had a great time! Michaladas were great! Good was great! Atmosphere is very nice especially considering the pandemic.. We weren't complaining at all! I ordered from Pueblo Viejo for the first time, and I have to say I was quite disappointed. The chicharrón was very hard and seemed old, and the cassava was just as unappetizing. Honestly, this was my first and last time ordering from there. I think I’ll stick with Cantorarito restaurant instead.
The molcajete is a must-try! My amazing girlfriend Lilly and I ordered it, and we were thoroughly impressed! Make sure to also order the pupusas – they’re the best in town! My daughter and I weren't impressed with the pupusas; they had more dough than filling, especially considering their price.
