Puerta Del Alcázar

Situated just outside the city walls close to the Cathedral, this street bar is attached to the hostel of the same name, yet as we walked along the main road it just appeared to be one of the several bars closely grouped. Very popular with...the locals and Spanish tourists alike, we enjoyed beers and good sized, tasty tapas at reasonable prices. The atmosphere was extra special as the Red Bull hummer was parked in the road with the DJ playing music.

Located just outside the walls, this restaurant bar has good food for reasonable prices. Most places in Avila have gone to fixed price menus. The selection among the menus is good and there is something for all price ranges. The food was well prepared and...tasty. On a warm November afternoon we were able to sit outside, look at the walls and passing people. All in all it was a good meal and a very good value.

all we've experienced was horrible. pre frozen food. I don't advise anyone. All we tried was horrible. pre-cooked food. I don't recommend anyone.

eat very well, the super friendly aarón bartender, satisfied with the service. the abundant food, the spectacular pavilion

We ate the menu del dia here for 16 Euros each, high but perhaps expected in touristy Avila. The food was mediocre.
